You know, for the first time in my life, I have a dire need to just back out of my competition tomorrow. I'm just sick and tired of pretty much everything in respects to it, and the fact that I'm wasting a full Saturday at some stupid school in the middle of practically nowherer instead of curling up in the cinemas to watch Aaron Yoo be all M.i.t. and hot is killing me, one stanza at a time.

Easter Bliss

WOOT! 3 Day Weekend!

I'm pretty much way too excited beyong belief - I'm so annoyed with school and the stress that goes along with it *yeesh*; but, since it's 3 day weekend, I shall not complain about the amount of homework issued and proceed to be thankful that I now have an opportunity to sleep in to the ungodly time of *cough* 12.00pm (or what some people like to refer to as noon) for one extra day.

Anyway, Alison got voted off Malaysian Dream Girl (Yes, I do watch MDG and yes, I realize I should be ashamed of myself) which is just plain odd. They got rid of one of the ONLY people who was tall with an awesome personality - apparently those two don't go hand in hand as often as you'd think =_=" But, I shall now support Jay who I think has got an insanely gorgeous bod. Again, I'm not gay. :)

On another note, Jenny and I went to see Funny Games last Saturday.

.........holy shit.
I now sleep with one eye open in fear that somebody's going to hit my head with a golf club buuuuuuuuuuuuut, if they were as cute as the psychopaths were in the movie..I wouldn't mind ;)

Oh oh, do yourselves a favour and watch Becoming Jane if you're sick of typical cutesy chick flick movies where everybody's happy :)

OK, so check it out. Jenny (my movie buff buddy) and I decided to have a movie marathon today to catch up on our movie watching habit :D

First up of the day clocking in at 2.30pm

BE KIND REWIND

-One awesome word that should officially belong in the dictionary: Quirktastic.
This was just what you'd expect from Michael Gondry and Jack Black was spot on.
Suh-pot on :D

-Ok, I've got some problems with this flick - THE FRIGGIN ENDING.
I mean c'mon, you should've just left it the first time but nooo, you just had to go do that and make the movie all "suitable" for people. Blegh. Although, that one kid, Vaku (sp??) is totally cutesy.

Final verdict? Anywhere know where I can get coolio dreads like Camilla Belle's?

So I just got back from watching this con mi padre and the verdict?

A mediocre 5.5 on a scale of 10.

Four issues I had with this movie:
-How the hell is Dennis Quaid so indestructable?!
-Forest Whitaker, shame on you for choosing a role that's way beneath you. *tsktsk*
-If you gonna do an awesome action-packed trailer, at least make the dialogue remotely interesting.
-The trailers were better than the movie =_=" OMG Al Pacino's new flick is absolutely intriguing :D Plus, Ryan from the O.c.'s in it so it should be interesting; how's our favourite California boy (Besides oh so lovable Adam Brody, which btw I'm going to be watching later tonight in In The Land of Women and yes, I still have yet to watch it even though I claimed I was going to a month ago o.O)going to transition on the big screen?

We're just going to wait and see :D

First off - ANGER

DAMN KLEPTOMANIAC STEALING MY BATH ESSENTIALS FROM OUR HOTEL ROOM AND MANAGING TO COME AWAY WITH A PLACING AT REGIONALS.

-Karma is a mofo bitch. Seriously. Letting damn hoe-bag kleptos get away with a victory?! This is what I had to go through this weekend while you people back in KL got to boogie it down with 90s galore in the presence of bsb =_="

fyi - the hoe-bag and klepto comments are 100% accurate :D

Anyhoo, so after the disastrous HOSA weekend trip as seen from the first part of this blog (pictures shall follow on facebook :D), I decided to unwind at home with what has now become one of my top 10 favourite movies of all time - The Jane Austen Book Club

Hugh Dancy is so charming and the story is essentially how I wish my life would be like - only according to Jane Austen's rules. Wonderful isn't it?

oh oh, and maggie grace is officially the HOTTEST lesbo in a movie ever :D
