Last night I watched The Last King of Scotland with me mom.

......................

Bad idea.

I mean, the movie wasn't completely bad (yea i know it's like this oscar worthy flick yada yada but that doesn't make obliged to like it in any way, faham?) BUT the last few scenes were so gruesome I had to pretty much run to the comfort of the kitchen to gulp down as many glasses of water as I can (i tend to do that when I get grossed out/nervous/angry - don't ask..and yes..I should have better skin complexion but I don't. The stupid wtf irony of it all)

AND you get to see sorta James McAvoy's stapler in his drawer if you know what I mean. Actually, I shouldn't be complaining about that hm (;p)...but see mom was there so..it was briefly awkward =_="

However, Forest Whitaker was like a fucking madman in the movie and definitely deserved his Oscar :)

Anyhoo..my dad's severely pissed off that I bought the piano. It sucks balls. He called me "selfish" and that I have committed the biggest sin in purchasing the piano as I've insulted him/disrespected him yada yada.

I absolutely LOVED 27 Dresses :)

Jenny, Livi, Mak and I got to watch the sneak preview yesterday before it's release on the 11th of January AND we absolutely adore James Marsden. And the movie of course ;p

Throw in an Apple store raid along with randomly painting each of our nails a different colour with $15 nail polish a pop (thank god for testers) and we had ourselves a pretty awesome day.

Oh! BTW, did I mention mommy dearest bought me a new piano and it's arriving today?

CHRISTMAS BREAK HAS STARTED! *wootscreamwootscream*

Oh my word, how I needed this so. I've been under so much stress lately that i've got 8 gr*y hairs smacked right in the middle of my head. How annoying =_=" (BUT...that situation has been taken care of through the magic of henna; however, i've got 8 ruby red hairs now in the middle of a sea of lightish black/brown. Again, very much annoying =_=")

So anyhoo, I went to Katelin's house after school on Thursday with some other friends for the White Elephant gift exchange extravaganza. (Course, being the stupid me, I forgot to wrap my pressie and thus had Katelin make a detour at my house before we could head over to her place with me gift wrapping in the car. As expected, profanities, and many of them, ensued during the gift wrapping process. FYI it's NOT easy to magically wrap something in the car when a person's driving at breakneck speed)

AT her house, we decided to have a jumping spastic spree on her trampoline with her dogs :) That ended rapidly with this huge "let's shock everybody with our new found static electricity 'power'" spree instead :) Ah the holidays..time for giving and shocking o.O

So when it got dark (at 5.45pm fyi) we headed into her theatre room to have a movie watching spree.



The Covenant - OMG!!! The one scene with them in the locker room AND about to swim was just a major orgy waiting to happen. :D Steve Strait. *yum* Well, we did watch John Tucker Must Die as well, but Steve Strait and Chase Crawford seriously overwhelm Metcalfe :D

On Friday, Katelin and I decided to hit up a nursing home to volunteer for our community service hours (the schools here are real stickler about that)and that's where I met her.

And I ran out to the hallway and was asked "where is Laney?"

And at that moment I felt so helpless and wanted to cry

Me: No, I'm sorry
She: *starts crying again* My chest hurts
Me: Omg, ok I'll get help

Apparently she was hallucinating the whole chest pain thing and they put her down to bed.

The week in review was so stressful, I swear to god. HOW CAN A TYPING CLASS BE SO ANNOYING?! Bringing my total avearge down. wtfomgannoyinglikeshit.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I went shopping yesterday for books and pressies for Secret Santa and White Elephant at Katelin's house this Thursday. I ended up buying Atonement for myself.




The purchase was completely a necessity as the movie with Keira Knightley's out and I really, really want to watch it; however, only when I'm done reading the book. :D

For Secret Santa, I ended up getting these Spraying mist things from Bath and Body Works (which is the nicest smelling store in the mall btw). I would keep one for myself, course I still need to finish up my body sprays that I bought in a fit of insanity at Victoria Secret on Black Friday. =_="

Hm...So I realize I haven't been updating my blog like I should, seeing as I hold this blogger account, BUT I decided that I was busy and thus the blog would remain unupdated, if that at all made any sense.

Anyhoo...So...on Friday/Saturday, I went to another Forensics/Poetry/TFA Competition-----and got screwed over by my bitchy ass judge. She can rot in hell for all I care and I hope she frickin' gets alzheimer's and dies. :D

Moral of the story: Don't piss tasha off by screwing her over by timing the round when you claimed you didn't :p

2 weeks ago, I went to film club. Watched Grey Gardens. I swear to God this movie made the top spot on my "what the fuck?" list. Old ladies who got their sagging boobies hanging out does NOT make a good movie =_="

Honestly, I can hardly remember anything else that I did these past few weeks. I'm severely exhausted and my memory has become a black hole.

OH! Does anybody know a good published Dramatic monologue or Duo acting script? I need it asap for competition. Help thanks :D
